Hydraulic grips

Our hydraulic grips are especially designed for high gripping pressure and, at the same time, require little space. Tooling setup is versatile and can include intelligent control such as compression-force control, upon request.

Various combination options

We design and manufacture double-sided hydraulic grips as well as combination versions, for example with a hydraulic and mechanical element or with the load reduction curve. All hydraulic grips are available in a modular as well as a compact design.

Singled-sided hydraulic grips:

Advantages:
  • Suitable for curved specimens
  • Can be gripped eccentrically
  • More affordable due to smaller hydraulic power pack

Double-sided hydraulic grips:

Advantages:
  • Symmetrical gripping system
  • Also suitable for automated systems with robotic placement

*Compact grips for testing steel specimens with compression forces of 2000 kN

Why choose modular grips?

The modularly designed grips consist of a base unit to which the hydraulic or mechanical components are directly attached via flange. This allows you to exchange spare parts more quickly in case of repairs and results in lower repair costs.

Modules are available with or without synchronization control and can be either mechanical or hydraulic.

Modular grips are available in load steps of 20 kN to 1500 kN.

Why choose compact grips?

Compact grips are smaller and require less space than modular grips.
Compact grips are available in load steps of 50 kN to 2500 kN.
